Crash Alert: Cass Co. accident sends woman to hospital
PLATTSMOUTH, NE – A two-vehicle accident in Cass County Saturday sent one woman to the hospital, News Channel Nebraska reports.
Police say that 39-year-old Kelly Sorensen was turning onto 24th Avenue from Golden Hill Drive when he failed to yield to a car driven by 23-year-old Alexandra Church. Church’s arm was broken in the collision, and she was taken by family to a local hospital.
Sorensen does not appear to have been injured in the collision, although he was issued a police citation for failure to yield.
Both cars received extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
