Crash alert: 2 dead after SUV hits pickup truck
OMAHA, NE – A multi-vehicle crash in Omaha Wednesday night left two people dead and another injured, according to a report by WOWT.
Police said the driver of an SUV ran a red light at the intersection of 90th Street and Maple Street. The vehicle slammed into a pickup truck that was passing through, and the truck was split in two.
Two people inside the truck were killed. A person in the SUV was hospitalized with injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening.
The collision also involved a third vehicle, a Jeep, but the occupants were not hurt. Witnesses told police the SUV was speeding through the intersection at the time of the accident.
