Crash alert: 2 injured in truck collision
LOUISVILLE, NE – Two drivers were injured, one critically, when a semi collided into a pickup truck near Louisville early Friday, according to KETV.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m., as the driver of a pickup truck was trying to turn left onto Highway 50 near the Platte River. Authorities say a rock truck going southbound slammed into the driver’s side door of the pickup.
The 28-year-old pickup driver was transported to a hospital by medical helicopter with critical injuries. The 58-year-old rock truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
All lanes on Highway 50 near the crash scene were shut down as authorities cleared the vehicles involved.
