Crash alert: Car plows into yard in Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – Police are investigating a crash into a yard in Lincoln last week that left two people injured, according to KLKN.
It happened Wednesday at a home near 30th Street and Y Street at about 6:30 p.m. Authorities said a car lost control before plowing into the yard and hitting several objects, including a tree, a fire hydrant and a street sign.
Police said the family was sitting outside at the time of the accident, with one person at a picnic table and others in the yard.
Witnesses said the car was speeding before losing control. The driver has not yet been identified.
Two people were taken to the hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening.
