Crash alert: Fatal accident in Dodge County
OMAHA, NE – One person was killed and another injured when their car went out of control and crashed in Dodge County Sunday afternoon, KPTM reported.
The driver of a 2008 Chevy Silverado lost control as the vehicle was going south on County Road 23 near Fremont. The pickup crossed an intersection, went into a ditch and landed in a pasture, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
A passenger was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified as 20-year-old Dominique Hocij.
The driver, 21-year-old Carissa Jourdan, was cut out of the vehicle and transported to a hospital in Omaha. The two women were not wearing seat belts, authorities said.
