Crash alert: Fatal motorcycle accident
SCOTTSBLUFF, NE – A Nebraska motorcyclist was killed when he ran off the road and crashed Sunday morning, newschannelnebraska.com reported.
Authorities responded at 10:16 a.m. at the South Beltline Highway near Highway 26 east of Scottsbluff. The motorcyclist, 61-year-old William J. Muhr of Morrill, was given CPR at the scene by a police officer and was later pronounced dead at Regional West Medical Center.
Another motorcyclist told police that he and Muhr had been heading east on the South Beltline Highway when Muhr apparently went too fast around a curve and went off the road.
