Crash alert: Fatal motorcycle accident
PALMYRA, NE – A collision at a market in Palmyra Saturday left a motorcyclist dead, according to rivercountry.newschannelnebraska.com.
Authorities say 41-year-old Kevin Davidson of Syracuse was riding his motorcycle west on Highway 2 just before noon when he hit the side of a pickup truck as it was making a turn into the driveway of the Palmyra Livestock Market.
The driver of the truck, 52-year-old Edwin Belina Jr. of Norfolk, had been heading east on Highway 2 and was trying to turn north into the driveway, according to the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office..
Belina was hospitalized for observation and charges against him are pending, the sheriff’s office said.
