Crash alert: Man hurt in Otoe County accident
SYRACUSE, NE – A man was hospitalized after his pickup truck crashed in Otoe County Saturday, according to a report by News Channel Nebraska.
The accident happened on Highway 50 near F Road. Authorities say 50-year-old Sean Gleason of Waverly was driving a Ford pickup when it veered off the highway and back onto the road. The vehicle then crossed over the centerline, went into a ditch, hit an embankment and went airborne, striking a tree.
Gleason was taken to Syracuse Area Health and then transported to Bergen Mercy, where he was listed in serious condition. The accident is being investigated by the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office.
