Crash alert: Motorcyclist killed in Omaha
OMAHA, NE -A motorcyclist died after being struck by two vehicles in an accident in Omaha early Saturday morning, wowt.com reported.
Authorities responded to the scene of the crash at 1:13 a.m. at Interstate 80 and 108th Street. 30-year-old Saw Htoo of Omaha was riding on I-80 eastbound when a car struck him from behind, according to Omaha police.
After being thrown from his motorcycle, Htoo was lying in the road when he was hit by a pickup truck that had slowed to drive around the crash scene.
Htoo was taken to Bergan Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m.
The roadway was closed for about two hours following the accident.
