Crash alert: Police identify driver killed in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Police identified the driver who was killed when his vehicle ran off a roadway and crashed in Omaha Thursday morning, KMTV reported.

The accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. as 22-year-old Cody Bates was driving just south of 156th Street and West Center Road. Police say his 2004 Infiniti went off the road right before the bridge over Papillion Creek, then struck a retaining wall and hit an embankment on the creek’s north side.
Bates, a resident of Gretna, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was inside the vehicle, according to police.
