Crash alert: Vehicles collide on I-80
MAXWELL, NE – At least two people were hospitalized following a collision between an SUV and a semi truck on Interstate 80 in Nebraska early Thursday morning, according to knopnews2.com.
The vehicles reportedly crashed head-on near mile marker 192 between Brady and Maxwell, east of North Platte.
The driver and a passenger in the SUV were both transported to the hospital, but no details have been released on their condition.
I-80 westbound was closed to traffic as the Nebraska State Patrol responded to the scene of the accident. One lane was open on I-80 eastbound.
