Crash Alert: Crash west of Beatrice leaves 2 hurt
BEATRICE, NE – Two people escaped with minor injuries when their car went off the road in Gage County Saturday, according to News Channel Nebraska.
The accident happened at about 1:45 p.m. on West Scott Road near Southwest 103rd west of Beatrice, police said. A 17-year-old was driving a 2003 Chrysler Sebring when she lost control of the vehicle, according to Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies.
The car went off the north side of the road and then slammed into a power pole and fence. The driver and a passenger in the front seat went to a medical facility on their own after refusing medical treatment.
The owner of the fence and the Norris Public Power District were contacted by law enforcement officers regarding the damage.
