Crash alert: Omaha head-on collision leaves 4 injured
OMAHA, NE – Police say a vehicle that took off during a traffic stop collided head-on with another car in Omaha Thursday night, according to a report by KETV.
The crash left four people injured, including two children. According to police, the driver of a Cadillac sped off in Council Bluffs and crashed into a Nissan Murano near 13th Street and Missouri Avenue. A 12-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy were ejected from the car and taken to the hospital. Two other people were also hospitalized.
The driver of the Cadillac, 23-year-old Raymondo Silva-Gomez, was cited by police for reckless driving, no registration and no proof of insurance. Police in Council Bluffs have issued warrants for Silva-Gomez.
