Crash alert: 5 injured in Grand Island accident
GRAND ISLAND, NE – Five people suffered minor injuries in an accident involving a police car and another vehicle in Grand Island Monday night, according to KSNB.
Authorities said a Grand Island patrol vehicle and a Chevrolet Suburban collided at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd Street and Walnut Street.
Four females who were in the Chevy and the one officer inside the patrol car all checked themselves into CHI Health St. Francis hospital.
No charges have been filed in the crash, which left both vehicles extensively damaged.
