Crash alert: 7 hurt in Highway 67 motorcycle pileup
TALMAGE, NE – An accident involving a group of motorcycles in Otoe County left seven people injured, according to a report by News Channel Nebraska.
The pileup happened Saturday on Highway 67 near Talmage. Authorities said a motorcycle at the front of the pack lost control, causing the others behind it to crash.
Two people, 39-year-old Melissa Foldenauer of Omaha and 53-year-old Kristin Kelly of Auburn, were seriously injured and taken to Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln. The injuries to the others were described as less severe. Six of the motorcycles were totaled, the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office said.
The group of at least 24 motorcycles was riding together on a trip.
