Crash alert: Child on bicycle collides with car
OMAHA, NE – A boy riding his bicycle was hospitalized after crashing into a car in Omaha, KETV reported.
According to police, the child was riding west on Parker Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign, and collided with a blue sedan going south on 56th Street.
The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. He was able to speak with police officers, authorities said.
No ticket was issued to the driver of the car, who remained at the scene. The child had a helmet on at the time of the crash, police said.
