Crash alert: Couple killed in car accident in Hebron
HEBRON, NE – Details have been released regarding a car accident that killed a couple in Hebron last week. News Channel Nebraska reports the incident happened at about 6:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 81 and Dove Road at the town’s northern edge.
According to the Thayer County sheriff, 69-year-old Dennis Fangmeier and his 62-year-old wife Renee were driving in an eastbound Cadillac on Dove Road when their car merged onto the highway and was struck by a pickup truck.
The couple died from injuries sustained in the crash. It is unclear whether Vili Lockling —the 24-year-old native of Conroe, Texas who was driving the truck—was injured.
