Crash alert: Driver slams into pole in Omaha

OMAHA, NE – A 19-year-old driver was seriously injured in a crash in Omaha early Saturday morning. KETV reports the accident happened at about 1:30 a.m. on 30th Street.

Police say Michael Parker was going southbound when he lost control and ended up slamming into a pole. He was extricated from the vehicle by fire department medics.

Parker was transported to the hospital with a serious head injury.
