Crash alert: Motorcyclist killed in Bellevue
BELLEVUE, NE – A man was killed when his motorcycle slammed into a fire hydrant in Bellevue Monday night, according to the Bellevue Leader.
Police said 21-year-old Joshua Dubbs of Bellevue hit the hydrant at about 9:12 p.m. at the intersection of South 27th Street and Mesa Street. Dubbs was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with serious injuries, and was later pronounced dead. No one else was injured in the crash.
The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time, according to police. Investigators are looking into the cause of the accident.
