Crash alert: Motorcyclist killed in Custer County
CUSTER COUNTY – A man was killed when his motorcycle crashed in Custer County on Saturday, according to a report by News Channel Nebraska.
67-year-old Melvin Babcock was riding on the Arnold-Dunning road, about eight miles north of Arnold, when he lost control of his motorcycle.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office said Babcock was thrown from the motorcycle after it went into a ditch and rolled. Babcock, of Aurora, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
