WAVERLY, NE – Drivers are being advised of construction work on a stretch of Interstate 80 that began Monday. 1011 Now reported the work will take place on I-80 between the Waverly exit and the Greenwood exit, Highway 63.

There will be lane restrictions in the eastbound and westbound lanes during the project, which will consist of daytime and nighttime pavement repairs.

At night, the eastbound on-ramp to I-80 will be shut down entirely and eastbound traffic will be detoured to Highway 63. The project is expected to be completed by September.
