Crash alert: Pickup truck driver killed in Hall County
HALL COUNTY, NE – The driver of a pickup truck was killed in an accident in Hall County Wednesday, the Omaha World-Herald reported.
21-year-old Alexander Schneberger had been driving his Ford Ranger southbound on Alda Road at about 3:15 p.m. when the vehicle experienced mechanical issues, according to investigators.
Another vehicle, driven by 54-year-old Toby Clayton of Holdrege, was coming over a hill when it slammed into the Ranger. The force of the collision sent the pickup into a ditch, police said.
Schneberger, of Wood River, was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital. No injuries were reported for Clayton.
