Crash alert: Rollover accident causes gas leak in Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – Police are investigating an accident that caused a gas leak in Lincoln Friday night. KLKN reported the incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. near 42nd Street and O Street.
Witnesses reported seeing a car that drove erratically, lost control and rolled over before landing against a building. Four people who were inside the vehicle were treated at the scene, then taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The car reportedly hit a gas meter, causing a leak that forced the closure of a street in the area. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, investigators said.
