Crash alert: Scottsbluff police car collides with pickup truck
SCOTTSBLUFF, NE – Authorities have released details of an accident involving a police patrol car and a pickup truck in Scottsbluff on Saturday, News Channel Nebraska reported.
The crash happened at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of 20th Street and Broadway. Authorities said the Ford Explorer patrol vehicle was driving on Broadway while responding to a call regarding a stolen vehicle. The police car crashed into a Ford F-150 pickup at 20th Street. Fortunately only minor injuries were reported.
The vehicles were towed away from the intersection. The Nebraska State Patrol is now investigating the crash.
