Crash alert: Ticket issued to driver who hit motorcyclist
LINCOLN, NE – A ticket has been issued to the SUV driver involved in a crash that injured a motorcyclist in Lincoln, the Lincoln Journal-Star reported.

The crash happened just after 7 p.m. Wednesday at 10th and High Streets. Police said Rye David was driving a Honda CR-V when he pulled out in front of the motorcycle rider, 44-year-old Alex Wolfe.
Wolfe tried to avoid being struck but slid into the other vehicle, witnesses told police. David was given a ticket for failing to yield. Wolfe was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
