Crash alert: Vehicle found in west Omaha hit-and-run
OMAHA, NE – Police say the vehicle spotted leaving the scene after a crash in a west Omaha neighborhood last month has been found, WOWT reported.
The incident happened at about 7 a.m. June 25 near 181st Street and Honeysuckle Drive. The vehicle, which appeared to be a Jeep, crashed into a light pole and drove away. The incident was captured by a nearby security camera.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says investigators will now attempt to interview the driver to learn more about what happened.
