Crash alert: Victim identified in fatal Phelps County accident
PHELPS COUNTY, NE – Authorities have identified a man killed in an accident in Phelps County last week, according to a report by KRVN.
64-year-old Aaron Farmer of Loomis was a passenger in a Buick Terraza that crashed at about 7 p.m. July 14 on U.S. Highway 6 & 34, about two miles east of Holdrege. The vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Brandon Farmer of Loomis, lost control while heading westbound, the Phelps County Sheriff’s Office said. The car went into a ditch and hit a fence before rolling over three times.
Aaron Farmer was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at CHI Health Good Samaritan. Brandon Farmer was treated and released from the same hospital.
Authorities said neither man was wearing a seat belt.
