Crash alert: Victim of hit-and-run identified
OMAHA, NE – Authorities have identified a man killed in a hit-and-run crash in Omaha, KETV reported.
This is an update to a previous story.
The victim, 26-year-old Justin Johnson, was struck sometime before 6 a.m. Sunday near 96th Street and L Street. A witness reported seeing him on a shoulder of the road, and Johnson was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police continue the search for the driver who struck Johnson. Investigators found marks on the road and believe the vehicle was heading westbound. Parts of the vehicle were also found at the scene.
