Crash alert: Woman hurt in crash near I-80 exit
GRAND ISLAND, NE – A woman was hospitalized this week after her car crashed near an Interstate 80 exit ramp in Grand Island. KSNB reported the accident happened Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m. at the South Locust Street exit.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, 71-year-old Janice Duncan of Cairo was driving west and exiting off I-80 when her car went off the road, drove through two fences and slammed into a tree.
Duncan was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to CHI Health St. Francis.
