Crash alert: Young woman killed in rollover accident
CALLAWAY, NE – Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a young Callaway woman last week, according to a report by News Channel Nebraska.
Crews responded to the accident scene Thursday night at 11:23 p.m. on Rye Valley Road, about 7 miles northwest of Callaway. According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Sydnee A. Sallach was driving a Chevrolet Impala north when it went off the road and rolled over multiple times.
Sallach died later from her injuries at Callaway Hospital. Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The victim was not wearing seatbelts at the time.
