Crash alert: 2 drivers hospitalized after car, pickup truck collide
RAVENNA, NE – An accident involving a car and a pickup truck in Buffalo County Wednesday morning sent both drivers to the hospital.
According to the Kearney Hub, the two vehicles collided at about 7 a.m. on 295th Road between Poole Road and Imperial Road, southwest of Ravenna. Authorities said 37-year-old Tracy Friedrichsen was behind the wheel of an Audi A4 sedan when she crashed head-on into a Ford F250 at a curve in the road.
First responders were able to free Friedrichsen from her vehicle. She and the pickup driver, 41-year-old Rory Cruise of Pleasanton, were both transported to CHI Health Good Samaritan. No further information was released regarding the extent of their injuries.
Police closed off a stretch of 295th Road for several hours for the accident investigation.
