Crash alert: 2 injured in accident on Highway 34
PHILIPS, NE – Two people were hospitalized following a crash on a highway in Hamilton County Friday morning.
According to KSNB, at least two vehicles were involved in the incident, which occurred just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 34 and F Road, about a mile and a half east of Philips.
One of the injured individuals was transported to CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, while the other person was sent to Memorial Community Health in Aurora. Authorities did not release details on the severity of the injuries.
An investigation is underway into the cause of the crash. The Nebraska State Patrol responded to the scene, along with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and local fire departments.
