Crash alert: 3 hurt in collision involving car and motorcycle
LINCOLN, NE – An accident in Lincoln involving a car and a motorcycle left three people hospitalized, according to a report by the Lincoln Journal Star.
The incident occurred Sunday night at about 9:30 p.m. at 33rd Street and Cornhusker Highway. According to Lincoln Police, the driver of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 48-year-old Gustavo Ramirez, was making a turn onto 33rd from Cornhusker when he crashed into a Suzuki motorcycle headed west.
Ramirez and a 13-year-old passenger in his vehicle were hospitalized, as was the motorcycle rider, 55-year-old Ronnie Towle, whose injury was believed to be serious. Ramirez was issued a ticket for failure to yield, police said.
