Crash alert: Accident involving pickups leaves 3 hospitalized
LINCOLN, NE – An accident involving two pickup trucks in Lancaster County last week left three people hospitalized, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.
The incident happened Thursday at North 14th Street and Davey Road north of Lincoln shortly after 3 p.m. The Lancaster County Sheriff said a 41-year-old man from Oklahoma was pulling a trailer while driving east on Davey Road when he went through a stop sign. The vehicle crashed into a pickup driven by a 51-year-old man from Ceresco, Nebraska, who was headed northbound.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital along with a 33-year-old woman from Oklahoma who was a passenger in the first vehicle. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
