Crash alert: Car slams into front of restaurant in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Police were on the scene in Omaha early Sunday morning after a car crashed into a local restaurant.
According to WOWT, a black sedan plowed into the front of Hartland Bar-B-Que near 54th Street and Radial Highway at about 4:11 a.m. There were no reports of injuries.
The incident was initially reported as a burglary to Omaha Police after the impact of the crash apparently set off the restaurant’s security alarm.
Investigators have been reviewing surveillance footage from the incident. Police were not able to find the four people inside the vehicle, which was abandoned after the crash.
