Crash alert: Construction to slow traffic on Nebraska highway
DILLER, NE – Motorists are being advised of a construction project beginning Monday that will affect traffic on a roadway in Jefferson County, News Channel Nebraska reported.
The work will be conducted on a stretch of Highway 103 south of Diller, and is estimated to be completed by late October. According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, the project will begin at a bridge, where traffic will be restricted to one lane with a traffic signal for the next month. Crews will then move on to extending the highway’s junction with Highway 8.
The project, which will include concrete repair, bridge repair, and asphalt surfacing, will involve the use of flaggers and a pilot car to control the traffic flow.
