Crash alert: Fatal pickup truck accident in Holdrege
HOLDREGE, NE – A man was killed when his pickup truck ran off the road in Holdrege last week, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.
Police responded to the area of 18th Avenue and Gustin Street, on the northwest edge of town, at about 1:17 a.m. Thursday. Investigators determined that a truck driven by 34-year-old Randy Wells had gone off the road while heading westbound, according to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Office.
Wells, a resident of Holdrege, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office and other law enforcement agencies are looking into the cause of the crash.
