Crash alert: Man dies after car goes into ditch in Nance County
NANCE COUNTY, NE – Firefighters responded to the scene of a fatal car accident in Nance County on Thursday morning, according to News Channel Nebraska.
The incident occurred on West Highway 22 north of 140th Avenue. The Wolbach Fire Department arrived to find a car on fire in a ditch, the Nance County Sheriff’s Office said.
A Cedar Rapids man, 44-year-old Steven Roan, was pronounced dead at the scene. No details were released on what led to the crash.
The Nance County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol investigated the incident.
