Crash alert: Motorcyclist injured in crash identified
LINCOLN, NE – Police have identified the motorcyclist severely injured in a crash in Lincoln last week.
This is an update to a previous story.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, the man was 56-year-old George Mader of Lincoln. He was riding a Harley-Davidson FXST Custom Motorcycle when the accident occurred at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police said Mader struck a median just north of Highway 2 near Eiger Drive and S. 84th Street. He was thrown from the motorcycle and transported to Bryan West Campus with injuries that were described as life-threatening.
