Crash alert: Motorcyclist killed in Omaha crash identified
OMAHA, NE – Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a semi-truck in Omaha Monday morning.
This is an update to a previous story.
According to KETV, the motorcycle rider was 24-year-old Bryan E. Wright. Investigators determined that he hit the side of a Freightliner that had violated a red light while headed northbound on 132nd Street near L Street at about 11 a.m.
Wright was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. Police said the driver of the truck was 44-year-old George F. Sansing.
