Crash alert: Omaha man crashes into parked cars on street
NORFOLK, NE – A driver who slammed into two parked vehicles on a street in Norfolk late Wednesday night had to be extricated from his vehicle and hospitalized, according to the Norfolk Daily News.
Police said 29-year-old Lukas Boykin of Omaha was driving north on 7th Street at a high rate of speed at about 11:25 p.m. when he struck the parked cars. Boykin’s vehicle then continued on before hitting a tree.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene and pulled Boykin from his car. He was taken to Faith Regional Health Services. No details on his condition were released.
Authorities say officers detected signs of alcohol use and criminal charges are pending based on the final outcome of the investigation.
