Crash alert: Pedestrian hurt when vehicles collide in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – An accident involving several vehicles on a street in Omaha left a pedestrian hospitalized, according to KETV.
The incident occurred early Monday morning at about 12:15 a.m. in the vicinity of 16th Street and Laird Street. Police said the driver of a Honda Pilot lost control and collided with a pickup truck, which then hit a second pickup truck. A pedestrian who was standing in the area at the time was struck in the chain-reaction crash.
The person was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital. It is not yet clear whether any charges will be filed in connection with the incident.
