Crash alert: 2 injured in car accident in Platte County
COLUMBUS, NE – An accident on a Platte County highway Monday evening left two people injured.
According to News Channel Nebraska, the crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m., as a vehicle was going east on Highway 30 just east of Columbus.
The vehicle entered a ditch, hit a culvert, rolled, and then struck a power pole, the Platte County Sheriff’s Office said.
Two people were taken to the hospital by the Columbus Fire Department. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
