Crash alert: Semi driver cited after crashing into car
LANCASTER COUNTY, NE – The driver of a semi-truck was cited following an accident in Lancaster County that injured another driver, according to a report by 1011 Now.
Authorities said the semi struck a car at about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 2 near 120th Street. The truck driver was making a turn onto 120th as the car was headed east on Highway 2, according to investigators. The driver of the car, a 53-year-old Nebraska City man, was hospitalized with broken bones. His injuries were not regarded as life-threatening.
The truck driver was cited for failure to yield. He was not injured.
