Crash alert: 2 seriously hurt when car slams into Omaha apartment
OMAHA, NE – Two people were seriously injured when their car crashed into an apartment building in Omaha on Sunday, WOWT reports.
The incident happened near the intersection of Clark Street and Florence Boulevard. Police said the vehicle went airborne and rolled over before hitting one of the apartments. The resident, Ella Whitcomb, said she thought someone was trying to break in when she heard the noise.
She and her grandson ran to help the two people inside the vehicle, who were taken to the hospital.
There was minimal damage to the house. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
