Crash alert: Motorcyclist dies after crashing into pickup truck in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, police are investigating after a motorcycle rider was killed in a crash in Omaha late Saturday night.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Michael Tresler of Omaha. Witnesses reported he was riding north on Abbott Drive at speeds of up to 100 miles an hour.
Police said the accident occurred just after 11 p.m. when Tresler struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was stopped in the left turn lane near Crown Point Avenue, north of Eppley Airfield.
Tresler was pronounced dead later at Nebraska Medical Center. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
