Crash alert: Nursing assistants help woman hurt in Blair crash
BLAIR, NE – A woman injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Blair last week was helped by two nursing assistants who were near the scene, according to WOWT.
The crash happened Thursday night in the area of South 13th Street and Butler Street, where witnesses said a car making a turn was t-boned by a pickup truck. The car then spun and struck a third vehicle.
Nursing assistants Kaitlynn Tiersort and Ayriana Hardnett said they heard the crash and came to help the woman in the car. They evaluated her condition and made sure she was OK until first responders arrived and rescued her from the vehicle.
The woman’s injuries were not regarded as life-threatening, police said.
