HASTINGS, NE – A search is underway for a woman who caused damage with a stolen pickup truck in Hastings.
According to KSNB, the investigation involves several incidents on Sunday. The first happened at about 4 a.m. at a Best Stop convenience store on West 2nd Street. Police say the woman drove the pickup into the store’s front doors and was captured on security footage taking some items.
The pickup, believed to be an early 2000’s model Dodge, was believed to have been responsible for at least two other incidents later on. A vehicle matching its description struck a garage door on South Pine Street, then hit a mailbox, fence and minivan at a home on South Kansas.
The pickup was reported to have been stolen from Clay County. The suspect was described as a White female in her mid to late 20s, 5′5″ tall and around 200 pounds.
