Crash alert: Serious injuries reported in crash on I-80 in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – A car accident on Interstate 80 in Omaha early Friday morning left at least one person seriously injured.
KETV reported the incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. in the vicinity of I-80 and I Street. Police and rescue crews responded to the scene. The incident left the vehicle in the grass on the side of the highway.
The injured person was transported to a hospital, but no details have been released on their condition. Authorities shut down the I-80 ramp to I-680 for the accident investigation.
