Crash alert: Weekend accidents in Nebraska leave 3 dead
HYANNIS, NE – According to the Omaha World-Herald, a man was killed in a a pickup truck accident in Grant County Saturday night, one of three fatal crashes in Nebraska over the weekend.
Authorities said 30-year-old Spencer Bacon was driving a pickup at about 8:15 p.m. on Nebraska 2 near Hyannis when he drove onto the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle overcorrected and rolled, according to investigators. Bacon, of Anselmo, Nebraska, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another accident occurred Friday night at about 11:15 p.m. on Nebraska Highway 91 near Dunning in Blaine County. 23-year-old Ty Milleson of Dunning was killed when the Lincoln town Car he was driving collided with a pickup driven by 34-year-old Thomas Peaster of La Loma, New Mexico. A passenger in Peaster’s car was hospitalized while Peaster sustained minor injuries.
A third fatal accident occurred Saturday in Wayne County but details on the incident have not yet been released.
